It can be a little pricey getting started in this art. Students should be sure they are willing to commit to Iaido training before purchasing their training gear.

A quality training blade runs about $200.00.

Heavyweight Gi $80.00.

Hakama $60 - $75.00

Iaido Obi $30.00

The Dojo has training Bokken available for new students use (free of charge)

It is not required have to have all these items to begin Iaido training. New students only need to wear comfortable clothing. All other items can be obtained as your training progresses. Contact Shidoshi-ho Bart Uguccioni on the link below with questions you may have on training times, fees, items, or openings for new students.
